This design is part of series based on traditional North American pieced quilt patterns.  Each block receives three treatments: an outline in a single colour, each section worked in a plain colour, and each section stitched to represent a patterned fabric. This example is the patterned version of the Card Trick block. Selecting from the different versions of the different blocks means that cushions or afghans can be worked with the amount of detail you want.
